Room Reservation Policy

Located at the corner of Cesar Chavez Avenue and Oakes Street just south of Van Andel Arena, Grand Rapids Community Foundation is pleased to open our building to local nonprofits to use our meeting room for in-person gatherings.

Availability

Please note our meeting room is available Monday - Thursday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. To check on room availability call 616-454-1751 and the receptionist can assist you or click the link below to send an email.

Check Availability

The Community Foundation reserves the right to cancel reservations at any time. In these rare instances, we will notify you as soon as possible so that you can make other arrangements. If your organization needs to cancel an event, please let us know at least 5 days prior to reserved date so we may offer the space to another organization.

  • Eligible Groups

    Grand Rapids Community Foundation’s meeting room is available for use by local nonprofit organizations. Community Foundation meetings and events will receive priority in meeting room usage.

  • Nature of the Event

    The meeting room is designed to host in-person gatherings that will require tables and chairs. Virtual attendance or events that require an open space without furniture will not be possible. Commercial use, fundraising events or private parties (i.e., wedding receptions, etc.) will not be permitted.

  • Availablility and Frequency

    To provide flexibility for room usage, reservations must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the event date. The meeting room is available from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. 

  • Cost

    For nonprofit organizations, there is no room fee to use the meeting room.
